MIGOP – Misr Gulf Oil Processing Co., is the pioneer of Palm based oils & ghee industry in Egypt. It was established in September 1985 as the first private sector company to refine, manufacture and distribute a wide range of products. In June 2000, AJWA, a pan Arab corporation working in various food fields in the Middle East, acquired MIGOP. Their vision being to aggressively grow the portfolio further and lead the edible oils business in the region. Today, AJWA- Egypt is one of the leaders in the industrial sector in addition to the vast portfolio of brands in the retail edible oils sector; which serves all the different segments of consumer in Egypt.

AJWA EGYPT FACTORY is set on 100,000 sqm2 in Adabiya, Suez. It’s fully sufficient employing its own units for refining, manufacturing & filling, cooling, warehousing, research labs & quality control. As an extension to the factory, AJWA owns three marine terminals. Company activities include oil refining, fractionation, production, filling and packing of edible oils, ghee, shortening and margarine. The factory operates at full capacity to fulfill its sales target and provide third parties with different feeding industries such as easy open/peel off lids, shaped and expanded can making, PET blowing machine & full production process for any finished product.

AJWA QUALITY management system meets international requirements and was according awarded the license of quality mark in Egypt as well as upgrading its ISO 9002 certificate to ISO 9001:2000

AJWA PRODUCTS maintain superior quality to offer different formats of refined vegetable oil (pure corn, sunflower oil and blended types with soya oil). The variety of brands is meant to meet all consumer needs among their different tiers.
